Ever since my university days, Bath has been my adopted city, and one of my very favourite things about it is the huge community of brilliant independent businesses that give Bath its unique character. I wanted to do something to help those businesses thrive, and so in 2016 I set up the Twitter community #bathindiechat. As well as running an account, @bathindiechat, dedicated to retweeting news, events and offers from Bath’s indie community, I also run a networking hour on Twitter every Monday, from 9-10pm, and host regular socials and other events.

Do you run or work for an independent business in Bath? Follow me on Twitter and simply tag @bathindiechat in your tweets to be retweeted. Everyone is welcome to join the Monday night chat – if you’ve never done it before, it couldn’t be simpler, just log in to Twitter, search for the hashtag #bathindiechat to see the conversation, and include the hashtag in your tweets to join in. You can also apply to guest host #bathindiechat, a great way to promote your business or industry to a wider platform – simply visit the Contact Me page or contact me directly through Twitter.
